We reviewed financial statements from 274 practices across the country as part of our 2017 practice profitability survey. Of those, 142 were general practices, 73 were orthodontic practices, 22 were pediatric practices, 19 were oral surgery practices, 10 were periodontal practices, 6 were endodontic practices, and 2 were prosthodontic practices.
