While billions of dollars in previously approved stimulus funds have yet to be spent, Congress is eagerly trying to shovel more money out the door. The Biden administration recently released its proposed new $1.9 trillion economic stimulus plan. This plan has been approved by the House of Representatives and will likely pass the Senate in early March 2021, shortly before the current round of unemployment benefit payments expire.
