An additional $484 billion in relief, including an additional $310 billion of funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), was signed into law on April 24. This provided a second opportunity for those practices unable to secure a PPP loan in the first round of funding.
Doctors who received funding, and are preparing to go back to work, now face a whole new set of questions—especially surrounding staffing for the 8-week time period PPP loan funds must be utilized. The limited guidance issued by the SBA has changed on multiple occasions, creating further confusion surrounding the rules and regulations of loan forgiveness. This uncertainty is ramping up as more states are allowing practices to reopen.
As we wait for Congress to return to work and target shortcomings in the PPP program, Jonathan White, CPA and Wes Lyon, CPA, CFP® will present answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding PPP loans and what we do (and still don’t) know at this time.
Objectives include:
- Rehiring Staff for Maximum PPP Loan Forgiveness
- PPP Loan Forgiveness Rules and Tracking
- Sick Leave and Expanded Family Medical Leave
- Employee Retention Tax Credits
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
